This tour takes you around the City area of London, contrasting the historic with the modern. See the famous medieval Tower Of London with its Crown Jewels. During its 1000-year history this impressive fortress has been a royal palace, prison, mint and zoo. It has seen three Queens of England beheaded, and the torture of numerous prisoners.

The tour continues through the world-famous City Of London financial district which is dominated by some of the greatest old buildings in the world and complemented with spectacular new urban developments such as The Gherkin. Discover the fascinating history of the ‘square mile’ including the Great Fire of London in 1666 and the Blitz during the Second World War.

We complete the tour with a visit to the iconic St.Paul’s Cathedral and take in sights such as Mansion House home of the Lord Mayor and the Bank of England building known as the ‘Old Lady of Threadneedle Street’.
